    Scarlet Blade -- Make all Amor Nude

    If this has been explained on the forum excuse the double post.

    Hope this explanation is good enough- iam not english speaking, so bear with me

    After reading all posts about SB i though it would be nice to make all armors nude in game and i started to play around with the files of the people that did the hard work to edit the textures.

    I tested the files with 3 chars a lvl 20 wipper , Lvl 12 Defender with lvl 5 armour and a lvl 12 sentinel with lvl 5 armor.

    Ill take the sentinel as a example:

    1. You have to extrract the SE gfpk from your Scarlet Blade installation with Quickbms.
    Run quickbms.exe - without any "-w -r" quotes its just for extraction.

    2. Browse to the scarlet blade txt file in you quickbms directory and select it.

    3. Browse to the gfpk pack that you want to extract in this case *\ScarletBlade\Data\Objects\PC\SE

    4. Choose a place to save the extracted files.

    Once its extracted browse to *\a\Objects\PC\SE\BD directory

    1. Copy the .mtl and .xmtl of the appropriate armour. In this case for the lvl 5 SE armour it wil be SE_BD_N_05.mtl and SE_BD_N_05.xmtl

    2. Paste the two files in your Scarlet Blade installation directory in this case *ScarletBlade\Data\Objects\PC\SE\BD
    Make a subdirectory in SE if there is no BD directory.

    3. Download SB-ALL-N-MOD-V2.zip from http://gamevixenzone.ryonani.com/hot...or-thread-751/ and extract files to your pc. (Thanks ShadowX2X)

    4. Copy the 3 nude textures in this case SE_PT_N_01.dds, SE_PT_N_01_NR.dds and SE_PT_N_01_SP.dds to *ScarletBlade\Data\Objects\PC\tex

    5. Rename the 3 nude texture copied files above to SE_BD_N_05.dds, SE_BD_N_05_NR.dds and SE_BD_N_05_SP.dds respectively.

    6. Browse to *a\Objects\PC\SE\PT (your extracted gfpk as in the beginning of this post) and copy SE_PT_N_01.amo and SE_PT_N_01.mesh to *ScarletBlade\Data\Objects\PC\SE\BD

    7. Rename above files to SE_BD_N_05.amo and SE_BD_N_05.mesh

    Youre done. Your armor should display as a nude texture now.

    Thank you to all the posters that worked on the texture files and modding for our enjoyment. Hopefully i havent infringed on someones files/work.

    ShadowX2X, Kizuna and Satoshi Blue like this.

    Haha, you dug deep into the topic, I love it ;-)
    On my journey into the Scarlet Blade files I found another way, which doesn't involve renaming or copy & pasting files. If you extract one of those character class *.gfpk's (e.g. SE.gfpk, DE.gfpk, ...) you'll find a *.xml inside. This *.xml decides for internal armor indices which mesh file will be loaded and displayed, including the material and it's textures.

    So, if you want to create a christmas mod, you just replace filename's within this file.

    For example, within the SE.xml change...
    Code:
    <socket index="5" name="PT">
        <mesh index="0" filename="pt\se_pt_n_01.mesh" name="SE_PT_N_01"/>
        <mesh index="1" filename="pt\se_pt_n_02.mesh" name="SE_PT_N_02"/>
        <mesh index="2" filename="pt\se_pt_n_03.mesh" name="SE_PT_N_03"/>
        [...]
    </socket>
    ...to this...
    Code:
    <socket index="5" name="PT">
        <mesh index="0" filename="pt\se_bd_cs_27.mesh" name="SE_PT_N_01"/>
        <mesh index="1" filename="pt\se_bd_cs_27.mesh" name="SE_PT_N_02"/>
        <mesh index="2" filename="pt\se_bd_cs_27.mesh" name="SE_PT_N_03"/>
        [...]
    </socket>
    ... and you made yourself some kind of christmas'y Santa Sentinel Mod which replaces some underwear with the Santa Costume. Every armor part changed with this *.xml retains it's statistics, you are just changing the visual representation on your personal game client. If you hate some faces or hairstyles just replace them with other ones.

    I thought about doing a mod like this with the Easter Bunny Costume for the Easter Weekend, but it was too much work just for the sake of it - even though it would be quite awesome to fight epic pvp battles with... bunnies ;-)

    Been experimenting with this a bit and it seems to work fine.
    Does anyone have a list of which .mesh file goes to which outfit? And it it consistent between classes?

    Gonna try this, much easier than to copy and rename files.

    It seems the filenames it not constant. I know the defender uses a different lvl 5 armor (DE_BD_N_02) than a sentinel (SE_BD_N_05). I just use a .dds viewer to look for the armor i want.

    I changed the files of the BD type armors - normal armors you get from quests of all 6 classes to the nude model.

    If someone want the files i will upload it for you.Click image for larger version.

    I would also like the armor files. I have noticed that when the sentinel has the lv 5 armor, the censor sparkles come back, lol. Does this take care of that? thank you.

    It should take care of it if you wear the armor. If you remove the armor it will still be censored so you need a package for that.

    Uploaded it:
